Mikael Levin from an early age has been passionate about two things: movies and traveling. These passions eventually merged— whether he was climbing the Andes or roaming the Serengeti, Mikael always had a camera in hand. From these experiences, he developed a photographic eye and learned about color, composition, and how to tell a story visually.

He later moved to Los Angeles where he attended the prestigious University of Southern California’s School of Cinematic Arts. In May of 2010, he graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelors in Arts.

Mikael Levin has applied his education and experience to the production of features, shorts, commercials, music videos, documentaries, and corporate videos. He has worked for such companies as Warner Brothers, NBC, New Line Cinema, Sony Studios, Capcom, Arte, Seattle's Best Coffee, and BBG Communications. His work has won acclaim from filmmakers, critics, festivals, and his grandmothers.
